zombies vs. raccoons

I've been doing a little research! Yes, please be proud of me. A friend posted an adorable video on Facebook and I thought I'd share it. Better Off Undead is the link to the short video. It's a zombie love story, what else? It also includes the music from "Edward Scissorhands," which is a nice touch.
The past few days I've been in semi-seclusion attempting to read and gather thoughts. I went camping in Wisconsin to try and relax. I did for a few hours each day, but at soon as night hit it was fair game for attack by raccoons or rain. I was in the middle of reading a very awesome zombie comic "Walking Dead: Days Gone Bye," by Robert Kirkman, (He's dabbled in "Marvel Zombies" and "Invincible" just to name a few things he's worked on.) when a raccoon ransacked our campsite and scared the shit out of me... of course my first thought was zombies... but it just turned out to be a very creepy raccoon. (Side note: the raccoon at two sticks of butter, wrapper and all, 4 pieces of bread and a basket of tortilla chips inches from my head outside my tent.)
"Walking Dead" It is about a cop who gets shot, wakes up from a coma a few weeks later, and his world is completely changed. There are zombies everywhere! The comic focuses more on humans and how they react in panic and life-threatening situations, and the books forward really tells the reader that there is more to the horror genre than just gore and guts. I found it entertaining and actually started talking outloud when there was something I didn't expect, just like I do when I watch horror movies. hehe!
So, check out that animated short and definetly check out the "Walking Dead" series. I plan on reading the whole series, so I'll try not to spoil it on here for anyone!
